Disclosing our Affiliate Relationships
The purpose of this page is to disclose the fact that maxim-ross.com may be compensated if you click through one of our links and purchase a product or service from the vendors the link takes you to. This occurs at absolutely no extra cost to you. In many cases, by being an affiliate, we are able to negotiate a better price for the product or service for you than if you had simply visited the vendor yourself and not via our affiliate link.
This website is funded through commissions
We earn commissions through some of the products and services we review and recommend on this site.
This only occurs when you click to a product vendor via an affiliate link, and end up purchasing the product, service or subscription.
More information on affiliate marketing is available at the FTC. An affiliate link is a special type of link that take you from our website to the vendor’s website. You can learn more about affiliate links on webopedia.
As this website has grown and many products have been reviewed and discussed, it is difficult to go back through each link and list every affiliate program that we may be a part of. Given this, you should assume that any links leading you to products or services are affiliate links that we will receive compensation from. Having said that, there are millions of products and services on the web that relate to health, making money and building relationships. We only promote those products or services that we have investigated and truly feel deliver value to you.
Why do we use affiliate links
maxim-ross.com is both a passionate pursuit for the website owners and also a business. Just like any other online website and business, we devote considerable time to researching and writing articles, following the industry, purchasing products and subscribing for services to enable us to do review.
As a business, we need to generate income to cover our costs, purchase the software products and subscriptions to both test and operate the site, pay for hosting, pay for contributors and writers, graphic designers and coders, and pay for upkeep of the products, most of which require a yearly renewal.
Since the content on this site is offered for free for our visitors (we do not have a pay-gate or weekly/monthly subscription or per article access cost), the only way to generate income to cover expenses is via affiliate links.
However, rest assured that the products we recommend we truly believe in. If we find a product that performs poorly, we will clearly state it in the review, and will not make an affiliate link to it, as that would not be honest behaviour. We don’t want you to buy inferior products just so that we can earn a commission.
Does our affiliate relationship impact our reviews and recommendations?
It does not. We recommend the products which are best for purpose, irrespective of how big or small, if at all, we get a commission. We believe in simply recommending the best product or service for the desired outcome, irrespective of commission.
Please note that we have not been given any free products, services, or anything else by the companies, products and services we review and recommend or mention on this site. The only consideration is in the form of affiliate commissions and any advertising that is shown.
Affiliate Networks we may use
There are a large number of available affiliate networks that websites use. A particular product may be listed on one affiliate network, or on many. We use a number of affiliate networks, such as Commission Junction, HealthLine and Clickbank. This is not exhaustive, and our use of networks depends on which affiliate network the product vendor decided to partner with.
Amazon Associates Program
maxim-ross.com is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. All links on this site that take you to Amazon.com and associated Amazon sites can be assumed to be affiliate links.
Other Associate Programs
maxim-ross.com is also a participant in various other affiliate and associate programs. Examples include Bluehost, Elementor, Astra, Divi, and many others. They are too numerous to list individually. Instead you should assume that any link you click that takes you to an external third party is an affiliate link, and we may receive compensation if you make a purchase or subscription, or create a an account, or enter into a trial, using our link.
Third-Party & Sponsor Ads
Text and image ads that appear on the site, such as in the right column and at the top, middle, throughout and bottom of the page, are third party and sponsor ads. We do not personally endorse the products and services advertised in these ads. These companies are not affiliated with maxim-ross.com. These ads are served by any ad networks we are a part of, such as Google Adwords.
